Public Transport in Singapore
This morning I took the bus. Hot and stuffy. Funny Singapore is. Pay world class salary to people who seem to know everything but have not experienced it. Take our buses for instance. We have world class bus drivers; those that can qualify for F1 racing. I guess its the same everywhere in the world. The 80/20 principle applies. Like I said maybe 10% of our drivers qualify for F1. 10% ARE VERY VERY GOOD. Polite and helpful. The rest of 80% jsut average. Do their job. No extras no less. For people who ask us to take public transport, try it yourself. I am not saying everyone must drive a car, but dont say its world class when its not. And the condition of the buses. Airconditioning not working properly, dirty like they never washed it since the day they put it on the road. And yet they want to raise fares. They sure are doing a good business. Every year they even manage to be more profitable.
